Sanjutha’s journey with LiftED began in the Woburn community, a place she holds close to her heart. Growing up in this vibrant community, she found herself drawn to LiftED’s mission, realizing the profound joy that comes from giving back and witnessing positive change first-hand. LiftED’s constant presence in Woburn not only supported the community but also inspired Sanjutha to envision a future where she could continue this vital work.

Building Lifelong Skills

Through her involvement with LiftED, Sanjutha developed essential skills that have shaped her academic, professional, and personal growth. Among these, communication stands out as the most transformative. Whether it was interacting with individuals of different ages, or engaging with parents through calls and emails, Sanjutha honed her ability to communicate effectively in various forms. This skill, cultivated through years of participating and volunteering in LiftED programs and working as a LiftED Program Assistant, has become a cornerstone of her success and will continue to serve her in all aspects of life.

For Sanjutha, giving back to the Woburn community was not just important – it was essential. Woburn has been a significant part of her identity, a place that has seen her grow and a community that has always been special to her family. When the opportunity arose to contribute to Woburn through LiftED, she embraced it wholeheartedly. The chance to make a tangible difference in the community that shaped her was both fulfilling and inspiring.

A Proud Moment of Impact

One of the moments that stands out for Sanjutha during her time with LiftED occurred during an open house. She recalls a conversation with a parent who expressed gratitude for the program’s impact on her child. The child, initially quiet and reserved, had gradually blossomed, building literacy skills and confidence. Hearing how these changes had positively affected the child filled Sanjutha with pride, reinforcing the significance of her work and the lasting impact of LiftED’s programs.
