Reading Buddies

This program focuses on peer support, mentorship, literacy, leadership, volunteerism, and communication. High school students from Branksome Hall are paired with Rose Avenue Jr. Public School students from Grades 2 and 3 to read and play cooperative games together.

WHEN: Once per week after school, from October through April.

WHO: Students in Grades 2 and 3 from our Toronto District School Board partner school Rose Avenue Jr. Public School.

COST: All students attend free of charge.

HOW TO ENROL: Students are selected by their teachers depending on their level of need and the predicted value that a program of this nature might provide for them.
