Leap into literacy
summer day camp

For some youth, the long summer break from school has a negative effect on their literacy skills, causing them to fall behind. This is called the “summer slide,” and it makes it harder for students to keep up with their classmates.

With small class sizes of 12 to 16 campers, this program gives students the individual attention they deserve and focuses on improving literacy and daily living skills through day trips and guest speakers. This helps students build confidence and stay on track for future success.
